Since the kids live in different states it make it hard to see them but we do as much as we can. My husband of 55 years has postrate cancer so we aren't able to travel as much as we would like. He is retired and enjoys working on his old cars. He needs to slow down and enjoy life, so we bought a travel trailer to find new adventures. I retired in 2020, at that time I was the oldest teacher on campus. I was a stay at home mom until out daughter was a sophmore in high school, then I worked as a teacher in Catholic schools. I am very glad I moved to public schools. So I got a late start on a career but since I am young at heart I was able to relate to the teenagers I taught. I taught special education english and reading 9,10,11and 12 grade. I was the head girls coach for swim and dive team which went to CIF this year, and the assistant coach for girls Water Polo. Go Mustangs. I still have contact with the school as the SSD coordinatior and I help with all the state testing. I enjoy going back to campus a couple of time a year. Still love my Mustangs. I still teach private swim lessons at my home and hope I can continue this for a long time.

I really don't have a school story, I just remember how shy I was, which no one can believe it now. I have enjoyed reading all the post from everyone, many I don't remember. But many I do. I am so happy that I have remainded in contact with Cindy, and Judi all these years. I have enjoyed all the times I did conect with past friends.I still talk to Jack Woods every now and again. I guess the only school story I can remember is when I put the hole in the wall of the gym during PE class. I can't wait to see everyone at the reunion, just hope I can remember everyone. Helix has a lot of memories for so many people. Looking forward to seeing you all.
