Hello Lads & Lassies:
I'd like to propose that we make a decision on holding some type of celebration for our 60th Reunion. Keeping it simple, as most likely the group size will be smaller, but actually (1) setting a date (day/times) so travel arrangements can be made, (2) scheduling a location (so reservations can be made), and having a few of us volunteer to agree on details. My suggestion would be to reserve a nice park location, central to San Diego, with tables and benches for sitting and chatting. I absolutely love to be served in a nice restaurant, but I'd be very happy to have it "picnic style" where folks can bring their own food to share (?) potluck, OR...we hire a food truck (tacos?) for several hours. We can arrange for beverages and perhaps reimburse this cost by charging a nominal fee. Folks can come and go at their comfort levels, we can set a time to take our "group photo", etc. Just my initial thoughts to get some dialogue going. All is well in my life, for the most part, and I'm enjoying my SUPER STATUS for..."Staying Alive, Class of 65"! Love to all, Gail (Anderson) Tedford
