After Helix I went on to Grossmont College and got involved in "politics"... Yes, I know... Really!
Then went o San Diego State, got married... Not to my long time "Foothiller" girlfriend and had a son, Jason
Left school and worked in construction for a12 years. Many fun projects like the Old Spaghetti Factory and the rehab of the Ford Building in Balboa Park.
Got back involved in politics and worked for a San Diego City Councilman, left there and was the first GM of the Fahirbanks Ranch HOA. Very interesting residents there! Left there after 2 years to become the president of the Downtown San Diego Partnership, got divorced and married KFMB news reporter, Stephanie Donovan. Saw a lot of changes downtown and was involved in a lot of interesting activities like the Super Bowls,Americas Cup and what is now Petco Park.
Was then appointed by governor Wilson as Director of the Southern Region of the Trade and Commerce Agency, promoting economic development. Ended up as Director of Market Development for La Mesa headquartered EDCO Disposal. I had been accused of "talking trash" for many years and I finally got paid to do it (-: Retired and now work at Ace Hardware in Liberty Station, where I saw Charlie Peterman who told me about this web site.I also volunteer at the Balboa Park Visitor Center. I have pictures of my grandparents there during the 1915 exposition! I now have 2 Grandchildren and my youngest son Clark, graduated from the University of Wisconsin... In 4 years! after playing 2 years of Junior A hockey... yes... ice hockey in Southern California! Now live the hard life in South Mission Beach.
