Gordy was a close friend from fourth grade up through graduation from Helix. We reconnected a few times over the years. Nice family... Wife and three daughters. Gordy, Steve Revella, and I played ice hockey together. Gordy and I were defensive team. He was a good guy.
Just found out last week that some friends of ours were good friends with Gorden and his family. They too said he's was a committed Christian and really good guy. From what I remember I concur.
I remember Gordon. He was an upright person. No phoniness about Gordon. Always honest and sincere. He is definitely in a better place. Standing with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I lift his family up in prayer that they feel Gods presence and know He will continue to comfort them.
