I sadly say goodbye to my best friend Carl Davidson . We met in Freshman Algebra and have been like brothers ever since.  We even enlisted in the Marine Reserves together. He will always be my brother. We just talked a few short weeks ago and he was all excited to be moving back to San Diego from Nashville to be closer to his four beautiful daughters and all of his grandchildren. I will never forget his uncanny athletic ability in whatever he tried; his quick wit and his mastery of sarcasm. And then there was that wicked grin when you knew he was about to crack a good joke. I will never forget him. I know he is in a good place now and that God has a plan for him. I really miss you Carl Jack Davidson, my friend forever. I love you man. RIP🙏

Carl and I had a few classes together, but I really remember him from Lettermen's Club and Student Council: Carl was very intelligent, very friendly, very focused and very passionate about everything he did in school and likely in him professional and family life. It is always hard to say good-bye to such good people - but it is good to remember how much his example of athletic, intellectual and personality meant to me and all of our class - Carl: a good man; good friend and best example - good-bye - michael
