I remember Jo in my junior English class with Ms. Moore. She and a group of other girls in the class were Honors buds. I even went to a party at the house of one of them, but it was so long ago I don;t remember who. Maybe Denise Evans? I thoght Jo was a very nice person becasue she didn't make fun of me whenever I got in trouble.
I knew Jo for years, well before HS. She was always friendly to me, and I considered her a friend. She ( or her mom) made me a pecan pie for a few years for my birthdays. My mom read about Jo's funeral the day of and went. She then called and told me about her passing. Jo still had the 64.5 Mustang in her garage when cancer took her. She always said she was going to become a lawyer, and did. Quite successful I understand. Jo is one classmate I truly miss.

Oh, yeah. Jo's senior write up goal and mine were eerily similar. Unfortuantely, I don't remember why, or if we even discussed it. I wish I did.
