Laird passed from cancer. Laird was the firstborn to Laird Sr. and Hazel Bole, a military family in National City, CA. He married Joella Yancy in March of 1970. She passed away in 2013, and in her obituary it stated: "She was married for the past forty-three years and was an incredible wife to her husband, the love of her life, Laird C. Bole Jr. “Pepper”." May he rest in peace.
